Good morning, very nice story, I am Daniel Rial, from Montevideo, Uruguay. I have a bike with a GIRARDENGO frame, from the mid-50s. Made in the city of Alessandria, Italy, stamped with the initials C and A. Size 56. I have been collecting a lot of information about it and it is a very rare model to find. It is the SUPERLUSSO TYPE "SPORT UOMO", MODEL 5 of the CATTALOGO BICICLETTE Girardenco & C. ALESSANDRIA of 1950 Its general condition is VERY GOOD, although the chrome is a bit rusty ... It does not have traces or badges ... It was assembled in Uruguay, by a company that no longer exists, and that assembled it with French and Italian parts. It lacks a vintage seat, a gear lever, the original derailleur (which I think was a SIMPLEX, world champion). It has an ADJUSTABLE advance, AMBROSIO BREVETTATO, French PRIOR pedals, one of the French PRIOR front wheel center masses in aluminum, HUMET derailleur, universal handlebar, and CASSANO ITALIAN plastic levers.
